PLANT:

  • Sinocrassula yunnanensis, often referred to as Chinese Jade or Black Pagoda, is a compact succulent native to the Yunnan province of China. It forms dense, rosette-shaped clusters with fleshy, dark green to nearly black leaves, giving it a unique and dramatic appearance. The plant can grow up to 4 inches tall and tends to cluster over time, creating a mound of small, pointed rosettes. In late summer to fall, it may produce tiny white flowers on short stalks. Sinocrassula yunnanensis is easy to care for and thrives indoors and outdoors, making it a great choice for succulent collections.
  • Water Needs: Low; water sparingly and let the soil dry out between waterings. Avoid overwatering, especially in cooler months.
