PLANT:
- Pachypodium rosulatum is a distinctive caudiciform succulent native to Madagascar, celebrated for its thick, bulbous trunk and rosette of glossy green leaves that emerge from the top. This water-storing caudex allows it to withstand long dry periods. During spring and summer, it produces clusters of bright yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers that contrast beautifully with its spiny silver-grey trunk. It’s one of the most ornamental species in the genus and a favorite among collectors for its sculptural, bonsai-like form.
