Cleistocactus colademononis, often referred to as the “Monkey’s Tail Cactus,” is a highly sought-after trailing cactus species known for its long, pendant stems densely covered in soft, white, hair-like spines. Native to Bolivia, it thrives as an epilithic plant hanging from rocky cliffs. In spring or summer, it produces bright red to deep pink tubular flowers along its stems. Its whimsical appearance and cascading habit make it a popular choice for hanging baskets and vertical displays.
