This Chinese Pepper Tree (Zanthoxylum beecheyanum) was selected for its airy branching and fine-textured foliage. Trimmed and composed in-studio to emphasize its vertical lines and gentle openness, the structure allows light and shadow to move through it creating a subtle rhythm in space.
It is planted in a ceramic vessel with warm tone and rounded depth. The surface is finished with ochre stone and a grounding rock adding texture, visual weight, and a sense of natural stillness.
