PLANT:

  • Austrocylindropuntia vestita Cristata, commonly known as the Crested Woolly Torch, is a unique cactus characterized by its fan-shaped, crested growth and soft, woolly white hairs that cover its surface. This rare mutation gives the plant an otherworldly, sculptural appearance. Native to the high-altitude regions of Bolivia and Argentina, it thrives in arid conditions. In optimal environments, it may produce small, tubular red or pink flowers. This slow-growing cactus is an excellent choice for collectors.
