- Astrophytum capricorne is a striking, slow-growing cactus native to the arid regions of northern Mexico. It is easily recognized by its spherical to cylindrical body, densely covered in tiny white flecks, and its long, twisted, horn-like spines—hence the name "Goat’s Horn Cactus." During summer, it produces large, showy yellow flowers with a red center. This species is well adapted to harsh desert conditions and is a favorite among cactus collectors for its unique appearance and ease of care.
