Astrophytum asterias cv. Fukuryu is a rare and prized cultivar of the star-shaped Astrophytum asterias, known for its distinct growth abnormalities. “Fukuryu” refers to the presence of extra ribs, raised lines, or irregular tissue growth along the body of the cactus, often creating a dramatic and ornamental texture. This spineless cactus stays low and round, with a felted, speckled surface. It may produce yellow flowers with reddish centers during the warm season, adding to its visual appeal.

Low; water sparingly and only when the soil is completely dry. Minimize watering in winter.
