CERAMICS, THE NERAW WAY

Nature is a constant source of inspiration in our classes. Organic forms, natural textures, plants and different materials become starting points for experimenting and creating with clay.
Each month, Giorgos introduces a new technique or project as a starting point and source of guidance. You can follow it, adapt it or develop your own project. No previous experience is required.

What's Included

Techniques

Learn a variety of techniques, including hand-building, sculpting, and glazing, to create unique and functional ceramic pieces.
Once you've created your masterpiece, learn the art of glazing to add a stunning finish.

Materials

We provide all different clay types, including terracotta & white clay, to find your perfect medium.

Kiln

All your finished ceramic pieces are fired in our professional kiln at a high temperature up to 1250°C for up to 11 hours to ensure durability and a long-lasting finish.

Tools

We provide all the necessary ceramic tools to help you bring your creative vision to life.

designed to support all the artistry, mess and creativity that happens in the
studio.

FAQ

Do I need prior experience?

No. Our ceramic classes in Athens are open to all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced participants.

What will I learn in these classes?

You will be trained on the entire manufacturing process. From design, construction, glazing. Create everyday objects such as vases, pots, mugs & learn a variety of techniques, including hand-building,sculpting to perfect your unique ceramic creations.

What does the cost include?

  • Monthly subscription: one class per week, 2.5 hours, for 4 weeks
  • All materials, tools & kiln firing included

*The monthly fee is settled at the first class of each month

What days and times are the classes held?

Our weekly classes for the new season are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday 18:30 – 21:00
  • Wednesday 18:30 – 21:00
  • Thursday 11:30 – 14:00 & 18:30 – 21:00
  • Friday 18:30 – 21:00
  • Saturday 11:30 – 14:00

How many people are in each group?

Classes are held in small groups to ensure personalized guidance and individual attention.

Lessons are stable & monthly?

Lessons are monthly and we recommend that they be fixed. It is continuous training that lasts from September to June & in which you learn the widest range of construction techniques.

What if I miss a lesson?

In consultation with us we will find a replacement day.
