This new season, our classes are structured into monthly thematic modules, each designed to explore different techniques, materials, and aesthetic directions.

Every month focuses on a concept inspired by nature and the artistic identity of Neraw:
from wabi-sabi forms and stoneware objects, to colored clays, planted ceramics, ceramics combined with wood & stone, as well as more experimental projects such as relief surfaces, oxides & glazes, ceramic mirrors, and unique functional art pieces.

Our aim is for each month to feel like a creative journey: you learn, experiment, and complete works that carry your personal signature, while gradually building a collection of projects that embody the Neraw philosophy.

What's Included

Techniques

Create everyday objects like vases, pots and mugs & learn a variety of techniques, including hand-building, sculpting, and glazing, to create unique and functional ceramic pieces.
Once you've created your masterpiece, learn the art of glazing to add a stunning finish.

Materials

We provide all different clay types, including terracotta & white clay, to find your perfect medium.

Kiln

All your finished ceramic pieces are fired in our professional kiln at a high temperature up to 1250°C for up to 11 hours to ensure durability and a long-lasting finish.

Tools

We provide all the necessary ceramic tools to help you bring your creative vision to life.

FAQ

What does the cost include?

  • Monthly subscription: one class per week, 2.5 hours, for 4 weeks
  • All materials, tools & kiln firing included

*The monthly fee is settled at the first class of each month

What will I learn in these classes?

You will be trained on the entire manufacturing process. From design, construction, glazing. Create everyday objects such as vases, pots, mugs & learn a variety of techniques, including hand-building,sculpting to perfect your unique ceramic creations.

What days and times are the classes held?

Our weekly classes for the new season are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday 18:30 – 21:00
  • Wednesday 18:30 – 21:00
  • Thursday 11:30 – 14:00 & 18:30 – 21:00
  • Friday 18:30 – 21:00
  • Saturday 11:30 – 14:00

Lessons are stable & monthly?

Lessons are monthly and we recommend that they be fixed. It is continuous training that lasts from September to June & in which you learn the widest range of construction techniques.

What if I miss a lesson?

In consultation with us we will find a replacement day.

Neraw Planted Ceramics Studio is a space for creativity and nature enthusiasts, located in the heart of Athens at Frearion 18, Votanikos (just a short walk from Kerameikos metro station).
