Real leaves, ceramic colours and expressive brushstrokes come together on a ceramic plate. Discover botanical printing and combine it with painting to create your own composition.

You’ll learn how to apply colour to leaves and transfer their impressions onto the ceramic surface. Explore brushes, sponges and layers of colour, drawing inspiration from the shapes and textures of nature.

Choose your leaves, experiment with colour and develop your own design, from a simple botanical print to a more abstract composition.

After the workshop, we take care of the glazing and final firing. Your finished, food-safe plate will be ready to collect from the studio once the process is complete.

No previous experience in ceramics or painting is needed. All materials, tools, glazing and firing are included.

What's Included

Your own painted ceramic piece

Create your own composition using botanical prints and expressive brushstrokes on a ceramic plate. After the workshop, we take care of the glazing and final firing, then let you know when your piece is ready to collect from the studio.

Colours & natural materials

We provide ceramic paints and a selection of real leaves to explore botanical prints, shapes and textures. Combine natural patterns with painting, choosing the colours and composition that feel right for you.

A ceramic plate

Your participation includes one bisque-fired ceramic plate, ready to paint. Its surface becomes your canvas for exploring colour and botanical prints.

Brushes & tools

All tools are available at the studio, including brushes, sponges, palettes and everything you need to apply colour and create your botanical prints.

Guidance from Neraw

With guidance from Neraw team, you’ll discover the techniques step by step and experiment with different ways of applying colour. We work in a small group, with time for questions and individual support as you develop your own idea.

What will we do during the workshop?

You’ll paint a ready-made ceramic plate, combining prints from real leaves with expressive brushstrokes. You’ll learn how to apply ceramic colour to leaves and transfer their impressions onto the ceramic surface, creating your own botanical composition.

What does the price include?

The price includes one ceramic plate, all paints and natural materials, use of tools, guidance throughout the session, and the glazing and final firing of your piece.

Do I need any previous experience?

No. The workshop is suitable for beginners, with no previous experience in ceramics or painting required. We’ll introduce the techniques step by step and help you use them to create your own design.

Do I need to bring anything?

All materials and tools are provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little paint on.

Do I have to follow the design in the photos?

Our sample offers inspiration and shows what you can achieve with the techniques. You choose your own leaves, colours and composition. Keep it simple with a few elements, or experiment with different prints and layers of colour.

When can I collect my ceramic piece?

Your plate stays at the studio after the workshop for glazing and final firing. We’ll contact you when it’s ready to arrange collection from Neraw. You won’t be able to take it home on the day of the workshop.

Can I use my plate for food?

Yes. Once glazed and given its final firing, your plate will be food safe and ready to use in your everyday life.
