PLANT:
- Monadenium spectabile is a striking and unusual succulent native to Tanzania, known for its thick, fleshy stems and prominent caudex that stores water. The stems are often mottled green with pink or reddish tones under strong light and can reach up to 30 cm in height. Small, oval leaves emerge near the growing tips, while clusters of reddish-pink cyathia (Euphorbia-like flowers) appear seasonally. This species, closely related to Euphorbia, is prized for its sculptural form and vibrant coloration, making it a standout in any caudiciform collection.
