🟠 This piece was featured in the exhibition Planted Ceramics, Living Landscapes by Neraw at ARCH Athens (June 2025).
It is a sculptural living composition, where organic plant forms merge with handcrafted ceramics. Each element is designed to evoke a living landscape, in dialogue with light, time, and nature.
A fusion of aesthetics and ecological awareness, this piece functions as both a work of art and a living system.
Astrophytum asterias cv. Kikko Nudum is a rare and highly sought-after cactus cultivar known for its geometric, rugged tubercles (Kikko) and smooth, nearly spineless skin (Nudum). Unlike typical Astrophytum asterias, which often have white flecks, the Nudum form has a clean green surface, accentuating its sculptural symmetry. The pronounced angular bumps give it a distinct, armor-like texture. In summer, it may produce beautiful yellow flowers with reddish centers, adding seasonal contrast to its unique form.
